"I am currently serving with GMT (Global Mobilization Training), an NGO based out of the States. I am working with them for nine months as part of their internship program. My time began in Malaysia doing three-months of intensive classes focused on all different topics (i.e., cross-cultural communication, interpersonal relationships and leadership development.) After the first three months, there is six months of interning which takes place at different sites within South East Asia. All of the different sites have different focuses, depending on the partnering organization. Some teach English, some do translation work while some focus on a particular people group."
