One Day to Feed the World is Convoy of Hope’s campaign that transforms lives. Each year, Calvary Lighthouse partners with Convoy of Hope to provide meals for children around the world! When everyone commits to giving one day’s salary, we harness the power of equal sacrifice instead of focusing on equal giving. When you give through Calvary Lighthouse to Convoy of Hope, poverty and hunger are replaced by hope and love.

This Father’s Day, we invite you to demonstrate the heart of our Heavenly Father by caring for those who need it most. Just as God is “a father to the fatherless” (Psalm 68:5), we have the opportunity to extend His love to children around the world who are facing hunger and poverty.

What is One Day to Feed the World?

One Day to Feed the World is Convoy of Hope’s annual initiative that harnesses the power of equal sacrifice rather than equal giving. Together, we are changing lives with nutritious food and clean water by asking each person to contribute one day’s wage to feed hungry children and families worldwide.

Feeding Children Daily: Many of the children engaged in the feeding program receive their only meal of the day from Convoy of Hope

864 million people are severely food insecure, posing grave risks to their health and well-being
A child dies every 10 seconds from malnutrition
In low- and lower-middle-income countries, 100 million children are going hungry
